I posted today about how dismissive I found Obama’s opinion that “children are relatively inexpensive to insure“. Here’s my open invite to any politician to come check out our healthcare costs for Peyton…anytime.

I so agree!
We found out too late that our daughter’s dependent insurance only covers $30,000. What? That’s like two hours in the hospital. The insurance company then tried to tell us how great they really were. ugh. I hate insurance companies.

I saw some of the debate and on the message boards I saw and on this linkhttp://citizentom.wordpress.com/
it was Obama that said that not McCain per my understanding of what I saw and read.

Also, I believe from what the message boards said Obama said that way less kids will go to the ER for an asthma attack…which gave me the impression (and maybe he didn’t mean it that way) that he thinks asthma attacks are not that serious which is not true since my nephew Ian died from an asthma attack at the age of 12.
