“I think I’d like to shave my head for Peyton.”
Thousands of people are participating in St. Baldricks events around the country. Shaving their heads in honor of children who’ve batttled cancer, raising money for life-saving research. If you’re interested in participating or attending a St. Baldricks event, you can get more information about one in your area on their site. (and you can see lots more pictures of the event we participated in on my Flickr)
My kids? Make me so proud.
And because they do, I thought I’d exploit share more of their shiny moments.

It could be the hormones from nursing my 2mos old daughter or just hormones in general but I read this story and I about teared up. If I was alone I would’ve but alas I’m NEVER ALONE so I kept it in:) I told my hubby that the other day: no matter what happens I will always have a child with me. Always. I love them but sometimes I want some time alone. Some me time. Like when I’m going to the restroom:) Ha-ha!

I just read my comment and it sounds like I’m saying only hormones or nursing would make me want to cry! Not true! I’m emotional all on my own w/o having to nurse. I meant to say that I loved your story and I’d cry either way but that right now my tears would most likely be b/c of hormones.

What a sweet boy!
And I get the “mark of manhood”, (I remember the original story)…but Rachael’s dance? That really needs some explaining!
