Lisa, Hannah’s mom, called me this morning with the news that a decision was made to keep Hannah at the hospital and on a ventilator until the end. The choice was made because Hannah has no gag reflex, and this leaves her open to choking or to aspirate.
Hannah precious life is in God’s hands, we are thankful that with the sedation she isn’t suffering, but her family will need our constant prayers and support. They are the ones who are suffering right now and we just ask the Lord for the comfort and strength that only He can provide.
Lisa is working on getting Hannah out of the PICU and into a private room so that her friends and family can come and say their goodbyes to this amazing little girl. I will update when that happens.
I don’t know that Lisa is feeling like posting anything at this point, but I will update as soon as there is any more information.
Thank you for your support of Hannah and her family.

Anissa,
Thanks for updating on Hannah. I have been thinking about her all day and praying. I can't imagine what her loved ones are going through. I met her only once but she definitly took a piece of my heart with her.

I feel so heart heavy for this family. Their hearts must be breaking to know the end is so close. I will pray they are able to get their little darling moved rooms for the family's sake.

Keeping Hannah and her family in my prayers.

Thanks for the update on Hannah. I had been thinking of her this weekend. Will definitely keep her family in our constant prayers. This is so heart-breaking.
Thanks also for the pictures of Peytons hair growing back. On her head, back and ears? Wow. I hear people saying you have to be specific when you pray. Just kidding. It's great to see her hair growing and that she feels like wonder woman. (Thanks for the investment tip!) You are awesome, Anissa. I always get a lift from reading your entries. This can be so sad at times, heart-breaking. But you have a real gift of finding and sharing some of the humor, too.
Take care and I'm wishing you the best with your PCF event this upcoming weekend.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for Hannah & her family. And, I wanted to thank you for the belly laughs this morning – I was catching up on some of your posts, and that "mount me like a pony" comment is still cracking me up! And the hair post was great too – although I have no advice for you on all the body hair. And I just love Peyton's sense of style, and I wholeheartedly agree with letting her go out however she wants – life is precious, and really, she won't be 10 and still wanting to dress like that (at least I don't think so) so enjoy it while you can! Thanks for your humor and writing – I really enjoy it!
Love,
