Ok, folks! Here it is.
This is the house that we hope will come through for us in GA….all *ahem* 3600 sq. feet of it.
Are you jumping up and down right now? Because I am!!! Seriously, two and a half of my current houses would fit in the new house.
I am so full of nervous anticipation, so excited yet afraid to get too excited in case it doesn’t work out, but if it doesn’t work out it wasn’t meant to be, the singing angels may have just been a car driving by at an inopportune moment and led me to believe that it was the perfect house, yet I really think it is and we all love it and I HOPE HOPE HOPE we get it!
Breathe.
Alrighty.
There are some pictures on here that look sort of dorky, those would be of the attic and the storage/potential 4th bathroom in the upstairs bonus room (aka Nathaniel’s boy cave). All of the empty white rooms are basement rooms, just awaiting our invasion to make them whole and give them personality. And that loooooong garage? That’s the the second garage (aka Peter’s man cave). Oh, and see that little nook off the living room by the front door? That would be ANISSA’S WRITING SPACE.
See, there go those singing angels again.
Anyway, here’s the house that we don’t own yet, but that I’ve already mentally furnished through many trips to Ikea’s website.

Wow! That’s lovely! Good luck: I hope you get it! 🙂

Beautiful! I love it! And you must e-mail me or something and tell me where in Georgia it is, because in case I have never mentioned it on my blog, I AM IN GEORGIA! We could be practically neighbors. It’s not like Georgia is a big place or anything. LOL

So jealous….3.5 of my current house would fit in there!

WOO-HOO! I love it! I hope the deal goes through for you. That’s a lot of lawn do mow. You going to get yourself a riding-mower? I hope we can have a blogger meet-up next time you’re here in GA! 😉

Nice place!!! I am envious of your kitchen, it looks really nice. Mine is rather small and cramped.

Looks beautiful! I love the setting – great trees. I’ll keep a good thought that everything goes smoothly and you’ll be shopping at IKEA very soon!

I covet that house!

Pretty! I like the little cubby in the cabinet in the kitchen where you can put plates. I’m sure there is a more technical name for it, but I’ve no clue.
Hope you get it! Its really nice!

Awesome! Beautiful! IT couldn’t be better, and y’all deserve it! Praying that you get it!

That is just jaw-dropping fabulous! Here is California we don’t have basements. Or yards for that matter. 2+ of my house could fit in there.
And a writing nook? I’m green!

THAT is a beautiful house. And an acre? You’ll love it! We moved 2 years ago to a house in the woods, and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have so much space. Just to go outside and not have a house 10 yards to the right or left is soooo great.

Fabulous! What a great basement!! Total BlogHer ’10 party-material!

First let me say I love your house and may be moving in:) That’s a +4 for you:) Ha-ha! I do have to say that while I love your house I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with your kitchen! I am beyond jealous of it! I don’t feel like cooking much these days BUT if I had that kitchen, 9mos pregnant or not, I’d be doing something in it: cooking, baking, etc. just to be in it! Kitchens and master bedrooms are big on the list of things I look for in a house and you have those two nailed! Lucky Duck! I believe this house will go through and next set of pics will be of you after you’ve set it up the way you want it to be.

But are you mentally buying the Swedish meatballas at Ikea?
on Jan 6th, 2009 at 10:41 pm
You will be able to SHOP @ ikea in person in Atlanta – just one of our many perks. Can’t wait for the party !

Hey,
I can’t be sure how or where I came upon your blog but I just got sucked into reading and reading and reading…anyway, with all that reading, I never did figure out exactly where in Alabama you are moving to. Do you mind sharing? I live just outside of Birmingham so I’m just curious.

Okay – after seeing those pictures, I’m revoking my invitation to visit me in Vegas. My house is a hovel compared to this place. Also, I just noticed I’m not in your blogroll. *tapping toes with crossed arms.* Humpf!
